A native Californian turned Michigan transplant, Michaela comes to Heyman Associates with over 20 years of experience in communications across the technology, consumer, lifestyle, automotive, and mobility sectors. She honed her craft growing up in San Francisco-based technology PR agencies before moving in-house to the likes of Williams-Sonoma, Apple, and Ford later in her career. Having worked closely with start-ups and large corporations, Michaela’s launched everything from the first Fitbit to the first Apple Watch, to Apple retail stores across the globe, to the 2020 Ford Escape. Leaning into her intuition, Michaela has served as a trusted advisor providing strategic guidance to companies across the globe. Known for her calm and professional demeanor, she prides herself on being as authentic as possible in all aspects of life. With so many adjacencies between search and communications, she finds working as Client Partner at Heyman Associates is “a wonderfully natural transition.”
When she’s not “at the office” Michaela focuses on spending as much time with her family as possible. Painting is a passion, when she has the time, as is spending time with close friends. She likes to be active when she can, whether it’s a quick workout or walk, swimming, tennis, or snow skiing.
