Business Books

E-mails, memos, position papers, correspondence, speech drafts, trade press articles: the relentless flood of information that bombards communications professionals can be overwhelming to even the most efficient executives.  Any book that breaks through the competitive clutter has to be something special, and something worthwhile.

We asked several senior communications executives to tell us about the best book–business or otherwise–they have read during the past year, why it deserves that honor and how it relates to their field.

There were some predictable themes, whether in the area of leadership, organizational strategy, globalization or communications skills. There were also some surprising picks.  But whatever the topic, all are worth considering as future “must reads.”
